There is no worse time for a cold...
I’ve always said that there is no worse time for a cold than just before/during [event] (Christmas/Holiday/etc). I’ve found today that I was entirely mistaken. There is absolutely no worse time for a cold than when your ribs are recovering from injury.
My ribs were healing quite nicely yesterday. I woke up this morning with a scratchy throat, and then I experienced for the first time...

Time is on my side again.
So yes, I lost my job today. I was totally expecting it, and I’m not at all upset by this. A part from missing the pay check, I’m okay with all of it. Well, except for the part where I was stuck in traffic for almost an hour today driving to work, and I got the phone call when I was but a mere 3 blocks away from the office.
But really, I did enjoy the job more than I thought I would,...
Just to update...
So the new job is going… well, it’s got its ups and its downs. This week has been a big roller coaster of “My job is safe” or “My job is in jeopardy.” Current status: Jeopardy. (This is the new door-to-door job, I mean). One day my job is in jeopardy, the next day I save my ass, then back to jeopardy.

Last week I got an email from Monster Jobs that suggested an advertising agency. I applied not putting much stock into it. But I got a call back.
